Trevira CS – a new development of pure polyester fabrics, applying innovative technologies to improve fabric properties. Trevira CS fabric products are not only flame retardant materials but also a fire safety concept covering the textile field. They are both beautiful and very environmentally friendly.
By modifying the interior of the polymer material, Trevira makes the flame retardant molecules join the molecular chain to form a polymer, which cannot be separated, so that the flame retardant modifier stays in the polymer permanently and has achieved permanent flame retardant performance. This method was invented in Germany and has been further perfected over the past 20 years. Fabrics spun with Trevira’s flame retardant fibers and yarns can pass the world’s most important fire and flame test standards. This improvement in internal properties does not make our finished fabric any different in terms of aesthetics and comfort from other common polyester products.
Trevira CS differs from other fabrics that are chemically or coated with flame retardants. For fabrics chemically treated or coated with flame retardants, the quality of the treatment process directly affects the adhesion of the surface flame retardants, and the flame retardants will be worn or peeled off during the use of the fabric. The material of Trevira CS flame retardant fabric is homogeneous, use and wear will not affect the flame retardant substances in the fabric, so the flame retardant performance will not be affected, even after thousands of washings, the flame retardant performance will never be changed.
